Honeytown could be anywhere, mostly it is just where you are at and what you are doing in the spot where you stand. It is an idea of a community growth which is not marked merely by increasing economy and bringing in new businesses which seem to simply erase the individual character of towns across not only this nation, but throughout this planet earth. Honeytown is not radical-- it is just a matter of living simply so others may simply live, supporting food gardens instead of lawns, applying water conservation and forest management to both town and country, supporting truly local businesses and truly local craftspeople and food growers... more importantly it is about living for the present, working towards the future, and no longer fearing it... Good work is happening. The voices and works of Honeytown need to be heard, need to feel empowered, and need space to be broadcast. We are here to create that space.
